Two workers of a Ghaziabad-based chartered accountant have been robbed of Rs 50 lakh at gunpoint close to Akshardham Temple in east Delhi, police mentioned on Wednesday.

The incident happened in Pandav Nagar, just a few metres away from the temple, within the afternoon, a police officer mentioned.

The victims, Mohit Sharma and Arun Tyagi have been going in direction of Ghaziabad on a motorbike after accumulating cash from somebody in west Delhi.
