2 Students Killed After Car-Truck Collision On Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway: Cops

Two college students died whereas the motive force of their SUV was critically injured after the automobile allegedly collided with a truck on Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, police stated on Saturday.

The scholars have been recognized as Vishwa (22) and Surya (18), each of them hailed from Bommasandra in Bengaluru, they stated.

Whereas Vishwa was pursuing a diploma course, his pal Surya was a second-year Pre-College pupil in Bengaluru, police stated.

In accordance with the police, the 2 college students had been getting back from Mysuru within the SUV which was being pushed by one Suhas. Their automobile allegedly collided with a truck which was within the improper lane, leading to an accident on Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway close to Kempainadoddi village in Ramanagara right here on Friday evening.

Each Surya and Vishwa had been rushed to the closest hospital the place they had been declared introduced lifeless. The automotive driver, Suhas, who sustained extreme accidents, is said to be out of hazard, a senior visitors police official stated.

“A case has been registered underneath sections 297 (Rash driving or using on a public means) and 304 a (inflicting dying by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code and the accused truck driver has been arrested in reference to the accident,” he stated.
