BJP Appoints 2 Central Observers For Electing Next Odisha Chief Minister

The BJP on Sunday appointed senior social gathering leaders Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav as its central observers to supervise the election of the chief of its MLAs within the Odisha meeting, who will take oath because the state’s subsequent chief minister.

The social gathering stated in an announcement that its parliamentary board picked Singh and Yadav, who was actively concerned within the state meeting polls, for overseeing the assembly.

The MLAs are more likely to meet on Monday.

Ending the Biju Janata Dal’s over 24 years rule below outgoing Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the BJP gained 78 seats within the 147-member meeting, scoring a majority for the primary time within the state. 

It additionally made nearly a clear sweep of the Lok Sabha seats, profitable 20 of 21 constituencies.
