As per the TRAI, the SIM swap or substitute means a strategy of acquisition of a brand new SIM card instead of a misplaced or non-working SIM card by the prevailing subscriber.

As per the TRAI guidelines, customers may select the Cell Quantity Portability (MNP) facility which permits them to retain their cellular quantity after they transfer from one entry supplier to a different entry supplier within the
