S Jaishankar Speaks To Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Following Fire Tragedy

International Minister S Jaishankar spoke to Kuwaiti FM Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya on the hearth tragedy in Kuwait.

Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday night time spoke to his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and urged him to make sure early repatriation of the mortal stays of these killed in a devastating fireplace in southern Kuwait’s Mangaf space.

Round 40 Indians are understood to have died and over 50 injured within the blaze in a constructing housing round 195 migrant employees, officers stated.

“Spoke to Kuwaiti FM Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya on the hearth tragedy in Kuwait. Apprised of the efforts made by Kuwaiti authorities in that regard. Was assured that the incident could be absolutely investigated and that duty will likely be fastened,” Mr Jaishankar stated on ‘X’.

“Urged the early repatriation of the mortal stays of those that misplaced their lives. He emphasised that these injured had been getting the requisite medical consideration,” he stated.

“We’ll evaluation the state of affairs after MoS @KVSinghMPGonda reaches Kuwait tomorrow,” he stated.

Minister of State for Exterior Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh is urgently travelling to Kuwait following a route from Prime Minister Narendra Modi primarily to supervise help to Indians injured within the fireplace and to make sure early repatriation of mortal stays of these killed.
