Former Andhra Pradesh (undivided) Congress president D Srinivas died in Hyderabad on Saturday, his son and Nizamabad MP D Arvind stated.

He was 76. Mr Srinivas had been unwell for the previous few days, household sources stated.

He was the PCC president through the 2004 and 2009 meeting and common elections. He was additionally a minister in former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s cupboard.

He left Congress and have become a BRS Rajya Sabha member from 2016 to 2022 and later rejoined the grand outdated celebration.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Telangana ministers, and senior leaders of the Congress celebration expressed condolences over his demise.
