Two Indians who had been recruited by the Russian Military have been killed within the ongoing Russia- Ukraine battle. Confirming this, the international ministry stated the federal government has taken up the problem with Russia and requested that recruitment of Indians within the Russian military be stopped instantly and all Indians presently with the Russian military be allowed to return. The ministry has additionally requested the individuals to be cautious whereas taking on jobs in Russia.
“The Ministry of Exterior Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Moscow have strongly taken up the matter with the Russian Ambassador in New Delhi and with Russian authorities in Moscow respectively, for early launch and return of all Indian nationals who’re with the Russian Military,” learn an announcement from the ministry.
“India has additionally demanded that there be a verified cease to any additional recruitment of our nationals by the Russian Military. Such actions wouldn’t be in consonance with our partnership,” the assertion added.
